Marine Life Encounter at Cairns Aquarium

Get the most from your day at Cairns Aquarium with a marine life encounter!

Your guide will take you behind the scenes, so you can see how the aquarium cares for its marine creatures. Hand-feed the cownose sting rays their favourite food on a specially designed feeding platform. At the River Monsters exhibit, scatter-feed the giant freshwater rays and barramundi, followed by a visit to the Cairns Turtle Hospital to meet the sea turtles that Cairns Aquarium cares for. You’ll also learn about the aquarium’s rescue, rehabilitation and conservation efforts and how you can help.
